During an upcoming workshop from the Virtual Learning Center (VLC), participants will have the chance to learn about McREL‘s nine research-based instructional strategies for enhancing student achievement as researched by Robert Marzano, and how to infuse technology use into the strategies. (McREL is the Mid-continent Regional Educational Laboratory, an education research and development corporation).
The workshop Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works takes place over three days, July 23, 24, 26, and is led by experienced instructor Martha Bogart. Participants will use this book and get hands-on experience with technology integration over the course of the three days.
Book cost: $27.98; (purchase of the McREL book is recommended, but not required). If you wish to add this option to your registration, you may. Fees for the workshop otherwise are $277 for a CSD member and for a $344 non-member. In addition, 2 graduate credits are available at an additional cost.
