Today on the Dave Glover Show (NewsTalk 97.1 in St. Louis), Cooperating School Districts’ Diane Stirling will be featured in a panel discussion about bullying, which will also include a former bully and and former victim of bullying.
Diane is a Program Coordinator with CHARACTERplus, a program of CSD. She has coordinated professional development in character education for more than a decade, serving educators in 60 school districts in the greater St. Louis region, southern Illinois and Jefferson City. She has worked with national experts, statewide agencies, local authorities, school leaders, bus drivers and students in developing a comprehensive response that puts bullying and cyberbullying in check. It takes measures that transform a school culture and Diane has followed schools that have committed to core values, created safe, caring communities and addressed adult and student bullying behaviors, both in school and on the bus.
Tune into to hear Diane at 5 o’clock on July 2 as she shares methods and strategies on preventing bullying.
