Scott Tate has been named Cooperating School Districts’ new Chief Financial Officer. Scott starts July 1st and will replace CSD’s current CFO, Steve Keyser, who will retire later this summer.
Scott has most recently served as Rockwood School District‘s Director of Finance, where he has been responsible for the district’s budget preparation, financial statements, and has overseen a staff that executed the majority of the district’s business functions. While at Rockwood, he also was responsible for management of insurance programs and served as a retirement plan administrator. Prior to working for the school district, Scott worked in private industry for organizations including Chan Healthcare Auditors, Cardinal Health and Commerce Bancshares. He is a certified public accountant and received his degree in accounting from Truman State University.
